Computers are Progressing!
Some people like to criticize Open Office (and now Libre Office) for being very slow to load up, but you know, when you have an overclocked i7, 12 gigs of ram and a solid state hard drive, it only takes 3 seconds to open the text editor.
That’s no longer than it took to open notepad in Windows 3.0 on a 386.
